This list includes some of my favourite photography locations in and around Ottawa, places I’ve photographed at frequently and have grown to know and love. These are simply recommendations to help you get started, not a list you have to choose from.

If you already have a location in mind, I would love to hear your ideas! Some of the most meaningful photos come from places that hold a special place in your story.

My biggest recommendation is to choose a location that means something to you and your relationship. Whether it’s the place you first met, a park you love walking through together, or somewhere you find yourselves returning to time and time again, incorporating a little piece of your story can make your photos and the memories behind them that much more special.

And if there’s something you genuinely love doing together, let’s make it part of your session! Whether that’s hiking a favourite trail, grabbing coffee at your go-to café, having a picnic, riding in a vintage car, skating in the winter, picking strawberries or apples, fishing, boating, or anything else that feels like you, I’d love to incorporate it.
