Hi there, I'm Yash, a wedding photographer based in Ottawa, ON, Canada. Very nice to meet you!
I’ve always loved preserving the moments that matter most, the once-upon-a-time memories people love to revisit and talk about years later. That’s exactly what I get to do through photography: capture that beauty and turn it into timeless art. I’m the one behind the camera, quietly documenting moments as they naturally unfold. I’m completely self-taught, driven by a genuine passion for all things photography. I believe in keeping things simple, because a minimalist approach almost always leads to the best results with the least amount of stress.
Outside of photography, I’m a big extrovert, social, outgoing, and always up for a good conversation. I’m also a huge travel enthusiast and would happily be on the road every day if I could. When I’m not editing or planning my next shoot, you’ll probably find me watching sitcoms (currently finishing up Two and a Half Men).
Alongside photography, I work in accounting and am currently pursuing my CPA designation. While the two fields may seem different, they complement each other more than you’d think, my accounting background brings structure, organization, attention to detail, and reliability into every part of my photography business. From clear communication to smooth planning and delivery, I take pride in running things professionally while keeping the experience relaxed and enjoyable.

Beyond the camera, I’m someone who values growth, curiosity, and doing things the right way. Over the years, I’ve learned how important trust, communication, and consistency are, especially on a wedding day. My photography style blends best of both light & airy moments and darker, moodier storytelling, always finished with warm tones, that feel timeless rather than trendy. I don’t change my style from client to client because I believe the best work comes from staying true to a clear creative vision. Between photography, my accounting career, and pursuing my CPA, I bring both creativity and professionalism to everything I do, so you can feel confident knowing your memories are in reliable hands.
My journey into photography started back in high school, almost by accident. I joined my school late due to a family move, and my guidance counselor placed me in a photography class because everything else was full, something I definitely didn’t oppose, as I’d been fond of photography since I was a kid. Looking back now, I never would’ve imagined that moment would eventually lead me to start my own photography business. Wedding photography began in a similarly unexpected way: a friend’s friend needed a last-minute photographer, and after plenty of convincing (and a few initial refusals), I shot my very first wedding. I instantly fell in love with the experience, and weddings have been my main focus ever since.
Along the way, my work has been featured in Ottawa Wedding Magazine, an exciting milestone that reflects the style, storytelling, and consistency I bring to every wedding I photograph.
No matter the size of the project, I bring the same level of passion and dedication to every shoot. My goal is simple: to create meaningful work and make sure everyone walks away happy.
